Description
The UNC Greensboro School of Nursing is seeking full-time nursing faculty to teach courses and clinicals in the BSN program. Candidates will have expertise in caring for women and children (mother/baby) and/or pediatric clients in hospital and tertiary care settings with specialization in labor and delivery or pediatric care. Academic rank (Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor) will be determined based on education and experience. The School is recruiting creative, innovative, and highly motivated candidates who want to advance their academic careers and support the teaching, scholarship, and service mission of the UNCG School of Nursing. Ideal candidates will have current specialty certification, teaching, and current clinical experience. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in nursing, doctoral preparation is desired, an unencumbered RN license in North Carolina prior to employment date, and two calendar years or the equivalent of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse. Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- An unencumbered RN license in North Carolina is required prior to employment date.
- Have two calendar years or the equivalent of full-time clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral preparation is desired.
