We are seeking a well-qualified Registered Veterinarian Technician to join the team at our successful hospital.

Requirements

Education/Experience/Certifications

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (RVT, CVT, LVT)
•  AAS in Veterinary technology or Veterinary Nursing

• Enjoys working with animals and can safely handle them when they are stressed, ill, and injured
• Is well spoken, and approaches job duties in a professional manner
• Is experienced in team settings, willing to lead and give direction to others, but follow when needed

• Compassionate and Empathy for our clients and other team member
• Support Veterinarians to ensure quality, compassionate care to our patient and their owners
• Support in all aspects of the hospital including Front desk, Exam and Treatment rooms, Surgery, Dentistry, and Radiology 
• Client Communication and Education
• Animal Handling and Restraint 
• Surgery and Dental Preparation and Assistance 
• Digital Radiology, Digital Dental Radiology, and Ultrasound 
• Vaccination Protocols based on lifestyle 
• Patient Monitoring and Record Keeping
• Instrument Care and Equipment Maintenance, Hospital Cleanliness and Organization
• Pharmacy and Inventory Control
