Schedule Details/Additional Information:
This role will involve direct patient care including providing breaks and lunches to teammates. Scrubbing experience preferred. Collaborate with the clinical leadership team to coordinate afternoon coverage and oversee patient recovery through the end of day. BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (PALS within 6 months of hire date)
Pay Range
$40.30 - $60.45
Responsibilities:
- Performance of the principle duties and responsibilities of the RN position and serves as a role model for professional practice.
- Evaluates environmental safety and provides an environment that is safe based on age and developmental status.
- Maintains unit, hospital, and management based competencies.
- Demonstrates appropriate psychosocial intervention based on age and developmental status
- In collaboration with the clinical manager, manages patient care delivery to optimize patient outcomes, customer satisfaction and resource management. Supports the development of the plan of care through collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Oversees staffing and scheduling, in collaboration with the manager. Assures cost-effective methodology.
- Participates in the interviewing, hiring and competency assessment in conjunction with the clinical manager.
- Monitors customer satisfaction, in collaboration with the manger, shares results with staff and improves in target areas.
- Monitors associate satisfaction and addresses issues or concerns, to assure resolution.
- Assumes responsibilities in the absence of the clinical manager, in conjunction with the director
- Serves as a clinical resource and mentor for staff. Takes leadership role in the education of unit staff, house-wide and as system level opportunities arise.
Education/Experience/Licensure Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- RN License
- BLS required
- 2 years clinical experience in area specialty. 1 year team lead / Charge experience
