Company History
Founded in 1963, Carteret Community College is one of 58 institutions comprising the N.C. Community College System. Located in Morehead City, N.C., the College lies on the shores of the beautiful Bogue Sound — part of the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway.
Carteret Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Benefits
Benefits include paid sick leave; 12 paid holidays per year; low-cost ($25.) employee health insurance; low-cost optional insurance such as dental, vision, disability, etc.; In lieu of vacation faculty receive 22 non-instructional days/breaks throughout the year. Full-time employees are also eligible for a pension, and are fully vested upon 5 years of service. The employee contributes 6% of their gross salary per month toward their pension account, the college contributes 24.04% of the employee's gross salary per month to the pension pool.
